Leaving Rafti towards Arachova, at the start of the ascent,beside the shrine, begins the rugged footpath (15 minutes) to the Hermitage of Taxiarches (Archangels) that can be seen directly opposite, embedded in the rock. The Hermitage was built in 1697.
