Prastos

From medieval times up to the Greek Revolution, Prastos was the capital of Tsakonia, reaching a peak in the 18-19th centuries with 6-7,000 residents. Today, it is almost deserted, and its historic ruins are the only surviving witnesses of its old days of glory.
