Beautiful small village on the eastern slope of Lykaio Oros (Mount Lykaion, 1,050 m) between ancient Lykosoura and the archaeological site of Lykaio Oros. Here, the “dreaded” army of Ibrahim was defeated for the first time in the battle of Karyon (1825).
