Nissia

The current impressive building of the Hotel Nissia (which means "islands") was the site of the pre-war spinning factory of industrialist Dimitris Daskalakis. It operated from 1920 until 1959, when it was confiscated by the state. Since 1989, it has been transformed into a luxurious complex of traditional houses that each has the name of a Greek island. The complex is located on the waterfront five hundred meters from Dapia and very close to Kounoupitsa.
