Location
Below the cannons (and the statue of A. Miaoulis) in the eastern part of the harbor, a beautiful promenade leads (in approximately 1,500 meters) to Mandraki, a holiday resort, which is located in what was the island's military port during the Revolution.
If we continue for another 700 meters, we will find a small pebbly beach with clear water. There is a taverna above it.
The road continues for another 200 meters and ends at the main beach of Mandraki, (Mira Mare), and the hotel of the same name. It is an organized beach with sand and pebbles and water sport facilities. There is regular daily service by boat (to and from Hydra).
