Location

A very beautiful short walk starts at the bastion with cannons on the western side of the harbor (below the Grave of P. Kountouriotis) and ends at the village of Kaminia. The total distance from the town of Hydra is about 1.5 kilometers.

West of the harbor, under the bastions with cannons, is the rocky coast of Spilia, a favorite swimming spot in Hydra.

As we continue, we see the three distinctive windmills of the island above the bastions with cannons and across from the G. Kountouriotis mansion.

Approximately 800 meters from town, we will pass the stone bridge of Saint Anna and arrive at the beautiful little beach of Avlaki. The beach has a cement platform that we can reach via stairs from the coastal promenade.
