Useful Information

1. In Kythnos, taxis and local buses provide transportation on the island’s main roads (Merichas - Chora - Loutra, Merichas - Dryopida - Kanala). Water taxis are also available to convey passengers all around the coast, for example to the famous beach of Kolona.

2. The island’s facilities include pharmacies, gas stations, a post office, Speedex Courier, and ATMs belonging to Alpha Bank and Piraeus Bank.

3. The island has no airport, so the only aerial approach possible is by helicopter. The heliport is 3 kilometers from the island’s main town.
