Agios Nikolaos Voion

Agios Nikolaos Voion is a community in the Municipal Unit of Voies that consists of the settlements of Agios Nikolaos, Korakas, Profitis Ilias, Tsoumalas and Valtaki, the last full of olive groves. The seat of the community named for it, Agios Nikolaos is located on the south side of Mount Krithina. From there we can enjoy an unobstructed view of the Lakonian Gulf, all the way to Cape Maleas. Profitis Ilias and Korakas are picturesque settlements with a few houses and a natural harbor, more reminiscent of an island than the mainland. From there, the road continues along a beautiful route toward the petrified palm tree forest at Agia Marina, and then toward Cape Maleas and the church of Saint Irene (Agia Eirini).
