Trechlo

Community of the Municipal District of Kalavryta made up of the small mountain villages of Trechlo and Lapata. Of special interest at Lapata is the War Memorial in the courtyard of the Church of the Dormition, in memory of the victims of the bombing of the village and of neighbouring Trechlo by the German Stukas on 29th July 1943. Beside the monument there is a shell of a rusty bomb that did not explode.
