Kato Lousoi

Community of the Municipal District of Kalavryta made up of the villages of Kato Lousoi and Lousiko. Kato Lousoi (Soudena) is a lovely mountain village at 1,070m altitude. It is situated 3km before Kastria Cave. Of special interest are the beautiful tower houses with the most typical example the tower house of Petmezaion. Lousiko is a mountain village at 1,135m altitude that is almost deserted. To reach there, we pass through the archaeological site of Ancient Lousoi with the temple of Artemis Hemerasias . In Olenia Municipality,of Achaea, the village of Lousika was founded in 1870 by residents from Soudena.
