Livartzi

Community of the Municipal District of Aroania made up of the villages of Livadi, Livartzino and Livartzi. The seat of the community is the head village Livartzi, the largest in the region in terms of population. The village enjoyed an important economic and cultural boom in the 18th and 19th centuries, with many tower houses, water mills and tobacco mills. Just outside the village is the historic Monastery of Agia Triada (the Holy Trinity).
