Aroania

The Municipal District of Kalavryta Municipality is made up of Agrampela, Agridi, Alestaina, Anastasi, Aroania, Desino, Kamenianoi, Lechouri, Livartzi, Plaka, Seires and Psofida communities. The seat of the Municipal Districts is Tripotama, a small village built at the meeting point of three rivers, Erymanthos, Aroanios and Seiraios, which join together and continue to form the Erymanthos River. Remains of the ancient town and acropolis of Psofida have been found at this location.
